Hi,
This is something I've been working on for the last several months. As the title suggests this program modifies fallout2.exe in memory for the purposes of increasing the visual resolution.
I'm calling this a test release as I haven't had the chance to play through the whole game as yet. But I don't think there are any game killing bugs.
I've been running the game at 1680x1050 for testing and I'd be interested to know how it runs at different resolutions.
It was made for Version 1.02d of the US fallout2.exe and installation instructions are included in the zip.

Version 1.1 is now out
It now supports the US, French and German 1.02d, UK 1.02e and the Chinese versions of fallout2.
It also includes a couple of additions and fixes.

Version 1.2 is now out
This version includes a fix for the Dialog NPC Screen, found by "weak-ling"
So now you can see who your talking too.

Version 1.3 is now out
This version includes improved map loading, improved Ending Slide show and full screen credits.

Although I'm yet to test this personally, this patch is said to work fine with the Fallout 2 Restoration Project.

辐射1的分辨率补丁我没用过，但辐射2分辨率补丁是可以用的，我正在用辐射2分辨率补丁玩。

辐射1的好像不适合中文版的啊，运行中文版时还是原来的分辨率，运行英文版时分辨率跟桌面相同，但出现乱码而不是显示英文

我记得 F2已经有个相当完美的分辨率补丁了，图像乱码和没有头像的问题都解决了。

这个不知道怎么样。

我的运行得很好，首先安装繁体中文版，然后打上非官方的补丁（就是带PATCH000.DAT那个），然后解压分辨率补丁到游戏安装目录，运行 f2_res_patcher.exe ，点确定。再打开 f2_res.ini ，把 AUTO_SCRN_SIZE = 1 改为 AUTO_SCRN_SIZE = 0 ，就可以用 800x600 的分辨率运行了。用其他分辨率也是可以的，只要改动下面的数字就可以吧。

SCR_WIDTH = 800
SCR_HIGHT = 600

F2我用1680 x 1050 都没问题，1.3版的高分补丁修正了1.2版不能截图的问题，不错~
F1中文版无法用高分补丁，能否改进一下兼容这个F1高分补丁？

新版补丁已发布。
Highlights of version 2.0:
-Added Support for the Russian "Lev Corp" version of Fallout 2.（支持俄语版）
-Screen resolution can now be set in-game.（分辨率可在游戏中设置）
-Added some side art to fill the blank areas either side of the IFace-Bar（一些美化）
